In a Maine coastal village near the end of the 19th century, the swaggering carnival barker Billy Bigelow, captivates and marries the naive Julie Jordan. Trying to provide for his pregnant wife, Billy is coerced into being an accomplice in a robbery and loses his life. He is allowed to return to earth for one day 15 years later. How Billy instills in both the child and her mother a sense of hope and dignity is a dramatic testimony to the power of love.

Musical highlights are "If I Loved You". "June is Bustin' Out All Over" and the memorable "You'll Never Walk Alone".

Of all the scores he created, this was Richard Rodgers favorite. BRING YOUR KIDS!

Directed by Danielle Flury
