2004-2005 Crystal Awards

A Night of a Thousand Stars

"A Night of a Thousand Stars" was the theme of the 2004-2005 Playhouse 19 Community Theatre of Citrus County gala awards dinner and ceremony held on Saturday evening, October 8, 2005 at the Citrus Hills Country Club. Nearly 100 members and patrons attended the fun-filled evening to applaud the efforts of the wonderful volunteers , both backstage and on stage who provided a stellar season for the community theatre. The awards ceremony was a show in itself complete with musical numbers that represented all of the shows of the past season, with plenty of comedy surprises not a part of the script for the evening! President Jim Farley was the Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Farley's alter ego, Count Dracula, was an uninvited guest who enjoyed a"nip"during the entertainment. Dancing followed the presentation of awards. Next season promises to be even more fun.
